In my spare time I enjoy attending my boy’s baseball, basketball, and hockey games as well as working out and reading. Lynn Classical is the best high school in the state and I love working there… GO RAMS!!!

Baseball | Varsity and Junior Varsity
Mike Zukowski Head Coach | 10th Year
My name is Mike Zukowski and this will be my 10th year as the Varsity Baseball Coach at LCHS.  My goal as the head coach was and is to build a successful baseball program.  Every player that has come through the baseball program knows the importance of the label “student-athlete”.  I stress the fact that these players are “students” first and “athletes” second.  I’m a firm believer that your performance on the field is a direct reflection of your performance in the classroom.  With that said, I’m proud to say that these young men not only leave the program as better ball players, but they leave us as better individuals.

I’m a graduate of Lynn Classical High School (1996) where I was a proud member of the National Honor Society and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball.  After high school I attended Merrimack College.  While at Merrimack I played football and baseball.   After receiving my BA in Sociology from Merrimack College (2000) I started teaching in the Lynn Public Schools. This will be my 14th year teaching in the Lynn Public School System and I am currently a Special Education Teacher at Fecteau-Leary Jr./Sr. High School.  I recently earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Cambridge College (2014).  It is an honor and privilege to teach and coach in my home town.

I currently reside in Lynn with my lovely wife, Erin, who is also a Lynn Public Schools Teacher and my three children Emma, Matthew, and Benjamin.
Rick Myette Junior Varsity Coach
Rick is currently coaching in his third year as an assistant varsity coach. Rick is a 2005 graduate of LCHS, where he played baseball and hockey. After graduating from Lynn Classical he went on to play baseball at Franklin Pierce University. During his time at Franklin Pierce they won two regional championships and attended the DII World Series, one in 2008 and 2010 while he was a graduate assistant. Rick received his Master of Business Administration from the university in the fall of 2010. He currently works as a teacher in the Lynn Public School system and lives in Lynn with his wife Nicole.
Kevin Fidrych Freshmen Coach
My name is Kevin Fidrych and I’m the new freshman baseball head coach at Lynn Classical High School. I’m very excited to be a part of the Lynn Classical baseball program. I grew up in a baseball family and enjoyed playing this great game through high school. My late second uncle is Mark “The Bird” Fidrych”. “The Bird” was an all-star pitcher for the Detroit Tigers in the 1970s who was on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice and Rolling Stone Magazine. I was born in Massachusetts but spent 23 years of my life living in Florida. In 2009 I graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in History. Following my graduation, I taught for a couple years in the Jacksonville, Florida Public School System.  Two and a half years ago I moved up to Boston to attend graduate school and be closer to Fenway Park. In 2012, I graduated from Northeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. I’m in my second year teaching in the Lynn Public School System. I’m currently a Special Education History Teacher at Fecteau-Leary Jr/Sr High School.

Joan (Vlahos) Wiendczak Varsity Coach
I have enjoyed an amazing teaching and coaching career with the Lynn Public School System since 1977.
I graduated from Northeastern University- B.S cum laude, and was inducted into the Boston Bouve' Graduate Honor Society. I also hold an additional degree in Dental Hygiene, and am a registered dental hygienist.
My happiest memories were made at Lynn Classical High School where I was a member of the National Honor Society, Miss LCHS, recipient of the Daughter of the American Revolution Award for Citizenship and Community Service, Varsity Cheerleader (football, basketball, and hockey) All star Harry Agganis Head Football Cheerleader,
Senior Prom Queen, and Correspondent for the Lynn Sunday Post Newspaper, writing a weekly Lynn Classical High School column. I  taught Sunday School at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, and sang in the choir. I was organist
while a member of Swampscott Assembly of Rainbow Girls-a society of service.

I graduated from Breed Junior High and was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, and winner of the Marion Benvie Speech Contest, and composer of our class song sung at graduation.  I also graduated from Breed Elementary School, and walked home to Waterhill Street everyday for lunch prepared by my mother.

My career began at the Administration Building on Franklin Street under the direction of Dr. Elmo Benedetto, and Dr.Evan Flamer, where I coordinated and taught a federally funded dental health program.

In 1980 I was assigned Biology teacher at Lynn Classical High School.  I  was Varsity Football and Basketball Cheerleading Coach, and National Honor Society Advisor.   I  taught Health and Physical Education at Breed Middle School, and served as Athletic Director, National Junior Society Advisor, and Cross-Country Coach before coming "home"  to LCHS..back to my roots of Physical Education teacher, Cheerleading Coach and Key Club Advisor.

My proudest accomplishment was raising my two children- Christina and Evan.  Christina graduated from Syracuse University and is employed by Converse in Manhatten, New York as a surface pattern designer. Evan graduated from Northeastern University School of Engineering, and is employed as a defense engineer at I-Robot -Defense Division in Bedford, Ma.  I am also the new mother-in-law to Evan Williams (also a Syracuse Graduate) who married Christina in May 2015.  My sweet brother Tony lives in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Guess where I plan to vacation?

As many of you know, I continue to wear my original Lynn Classical Cheerleading uniform at our Thanksgiving rally each year because it still fits!  I am so happy here.... I work with so many wonderful people!  Go Rams!

Robert Sirois Jr. Special Teams and Linebackers
I am honored to have been given the incredible opportunity to rejoin this historically rich and proud football program and family. Having coached football for over 12 years now, at a multitude of levels and ages, from Pop Warner to the high school level, I truly understand the immense responsibility of a football coach. From safely and technically teaching these young student athletes the game of football, to empowering a positive sense of academic and athletic greatness and most importantly, positively instilling into them some of the game’s greatest values such as team work, self-sacrifice, being self-critical, hard work, respect, discipline and the unwavering will to never give up!! I played football and graduated from St Mary's in 1993. During my time there, I achieved several awards, such as, defensive player of the year, averaging 13 tackles a game, Team MVP and played in the Agganis football game. After graduating from high school, I joined and served in the Infantry of the United States Marine Corps from 1995 to 1999. I obtained my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Middlesex Community College and subsequently transferred to, and graduated from, Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice. I have been a Lynn Police officer for almost 17 years and I am happy to say that all three of my children have attended or are current students of Lynn Classical. GO CLASSICAL!!! BEAT ENGLISH!!!!
Dennis Murphy Defensive Coordinator and Safeties
My name is Dennis Murphy, I have been coaching football for over a decade now at all levels of the sport from ages 9-18. I love coaching and helping the kids any way that I can. This will be my second season coaching at the high school level and I am very excited and motivated by the challenge at hand in coaching at a high level against top competition and opposing coaches that have more experience than I do. I am equally excited to coach at my alma mater as I am a member of the Lynn Classical class of 1997. Can't wait to kick off the season against Medford in front of a die-hard Lynn Classical fan base. I played football for Lynn Classical and now I am coaching at Lynn Classical. Very excited.
Tyler Alicudo Inside Receivers/ JV Offensive Coordinator

Born and raised in Lynn, Ma, the sport of football played a vital role throughout my adolescent years. I started playing football at the age of 7 for West Lynn Pop Warner and have been in love with the sport ever since. Growing up, I attended Breed Middle School prior to becoming a student athlete at my Alma Mater, Lynn Classical High School. As a student athlete, I quickly learned the importance of how academics play a crucial role into one’s athletic interests.

After high school, I enrolled as a student athlete at Framingham State University and played under Head Coach Tom Kelley. In my first semester of college, my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I was forced to drop out of school to support my family. After completing enough courses from North Shore Community College to become eligible, I transferred back to Framingham State University for my sophomore year. My football career at FSU was cut short due to a knee injury my junior year. As a member of the Framingham State University Football Team we won 2 NEFC Bogan Division Championships, 1 NEFC Championship, 2 MASCAC Championships, and competed in the Division 3 NCAA Tournament.

Despite dropping out of college my freshmen year, I battled through adversity and still managed to graduate on time from Framingham State University with a 3.0 G.P.A. with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications.

My passion for the game of football has grown over the years as I made the transition from player to coach. This is my second-year coaching at Lynn Classical High School and I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to help the players in the program mature into young men and compete at the next level.

Boy's Varsity and JV Hockey "Lynn Jets"
Joseph Conlon Head Coach
Hi, I’m Joe Conlon and I am a teacher in the Lynn Schools and the varsity hockey coach of the Lynn Jets.  The Jets are a team made up of students from Lynn Classical, Lynn English, and Lynn Tech.  I will say the students do a great job of putting aside the fact they go to different schools and work together to become one unit representing our city.  This is my 6th year as a coach in the program.  I coached at Lynn English before the teams combined and am very proud to work with our student-athletes.  I am also a graduate of the Lynn School System and that was an experience that has proved invaluable to me in my career.  The last thing I will mention is how privileged I am to work with an outstanding staff and a dedicated group of student-athletes. Thank You and Go Jets.
Joseph Gunning Coach
I am a Classical graduate and a retired Lynn School teacher. I am member of the Classical Athletic Hall of fame. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus serving as a grand knight, district warden and board of director. I have been a member of the North Shore Chapter of the National Ice Hockey Officials Assn. for 42 years and was a member of USA Hockey for 27 years. I was the recipient of the Northeastern Conference Community Service award in 2006 and have been awarded a lifetime pass by the Northeastern Conference and Cape Ann League. It has been my pleasure to serve as an assistant coach with Jets from the beginning in 2007. As always GO JETS !!!
David Pinkham Goalie Coach
In my second season as Jets goalie coach I am still very excited to be a part of such a well run program and to work with other coaches and players who really care about each other and the betterment of the team. Being part of such a close knit group reminds me of my playing days at Arlington Catholic High School and Assumption College. Previously to joining the Jets I was an assistant coach on the up and coming Salem State Women's Hockey Program and recently started a private goalie training program New England Goalie Academy in which goalies all ages and skill levels are welcome to attend.

Background / Bio / Educational Philosophy: The teaching process for me involves the application of creativity in partnership with math, science, social studies, language arts,  fine arts and sports to search for quicker, better and less expensive ways to use the forces and materials of nature to meet today's challenges. Students through sports and academics are learning to be problem solvers who use every resource possible to bring into existence things and ideas that they imagine. As an educator some of the benefits applying this process in my classroom and on the field are:

1.     Be creative.
2.     Work with great people.
3.     Solve problems, design things that matter.
4.     Never be bored.
5.     Make a difference.
6.     Change the world.
7.    Collaborate with your peers.

Personally, I was born to a Lebanese father and a French mother; I travelled the world and lived in three different continents. I have two sons both in high school, and my mission in life is to advocate for students and contribute to their success. I played soccer right through college, and coached Peabody youth soccer for over 8 years. My job as a coach is to teach children the basics of soccer, develop their skills and build their stamina. Our motto is team work.

Erica Richard
Head Coach
My name is Erica Richard and this will be my 3rd year as head coach of the softball program at Lynn Classical High School. Each of my first two seasons, the Varsity program has made the State Tournament and our Junior Varsity program has been very successful these years as well. I feel as though we are only getting stronger as a program as time goes on. The girls that have been part of this program been exceptional athletes, but I am proud to say that they have been tremendous students and people that represent the Ram Fam and what Lynn Classical is all about. I am a graduate of St. Mary’s High School (2006) and have lived in Lynn all my life. I played softball, soccer, and basketball throughout high school. I went on to play softball at Salem State College until a shoulder injury. When I was no longer able to play, I began my coaching career at St. Mary’s. I went on to be the Head JV Coach/Assistant Varsity Softball coach and the Assistant Varsity Soccer coach there for 7 years. I graduated from Salem State College in 2010 with a degree in English/Secondary Education and have been teaching in Lynn Public Schools ever since. I graduated from American International College in 2014 with my masters in English/Secondary Education as well. For the past two years I have been teaching 9th grade English here at Lynn Classical. I am so honored to have the opportunity to teach and coach here at Lynn Classical and I am looking forward to the success of our program in the future. I currently reside in Lynn with my husband, Dan, a graduate of Lynn Classical, and our daughter, Avery.

While captain her senior year, JB was awarded the Salem State Vikings VeSPY award for Clutch Performance from participating in the NCAA.

Ivy Martin Assistant Coach
My name is Ivy Martin and this will be my first spring officially assistant coaching the varsity softball team. I helped coach last spring toward the end of the season and soon realized coaching is what I love to do. I have been an avid softball player my entire life and I look forward to bringing my personal experiences to the field this year. I am a 2015 graduate of LCHS. I played volleyball, track, and softball and was honored to be captain of all three sports my senior year. I was also a member of the National Honor Society.

I now attend Salem State University and I am majoring in Secondary Physical Education. In the future I hope to become a Physical Education teacher and continue to coach. I look forward to seeing where this journey will take me and I am excited to be a part of the LCHS family once again.

Frank Deluca Girl's Head Coach
This is my sixth year teaching Social Studies at Lynn Classical High School. I teach five classes of US History II. I was  the girls Assistant Varsity/JV volleyball coach in 2010 and 2011, the beginning of our program. I am presently the girls Varsity Volleyball coach 2012-2016 and happy to boast that we won the Lynn City Championship in 2012, 2014 , and 2015 and made the State Tournament in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

This is also my third year as the girls Freshmen Basketball coach. I have been coaching various teams and sports for over forty-three years including the Tufts University JV Baseball team. Besides coaching the girls Varsity Volleyball team to the State Tournament the last four years , the highlight of my coaching career would be coaching the South Medford Little League team to the Massachusetts State Championship and third place in the Eastern Regionals in 1980.   I received my BA from Tufts University “Cum Laude” and my JD from Suffolk University Law School “Cum Laude”.
Chris LeBlanc Junior Varsity Coach
This is my first year coaching the LCHS Junior Varsity Girls’ Volleyball team. I am extremely excited to become involved in the program. I have previous coaching experience with softball and I plan to bring the same level of excitement and discipline that I have brought to my softball teams to the LCHS volleyball program!

This is my second year teaching at LCHS and I could not be happier! The students and staff have all welcomed me to the family and taken me in as one of their own. I earned my Bachelor’s degree, with a dual major in History and Education, from Salem State University and I am currently working towards my Master’s degree in Adolescent Literacy at Concordia University.

I am looking forward to growing and learning with the program and helping the girls to develop the skills, technique, and desire necessary to succeed at the next level.

Chenysse Hill Congrats to Chenysse Hill our February Student Athlete of the Month.Chenysse has a 3.9 GPA and is ranked 41 of 377 students.  Chenysse challenges herself in the classroom with a full slate of AP and Honors courses.

As she winds down her high school academic career she now is in the position of selecting what college is right for her.  As a result of her grades and her prowess on the basketball court she has several options.  Even without basketball, Chenysse has a wide array of college options available to her.

Outside of the classroom Chenysse volunteers her time at the Lynn Pee Wee basketball program working with 4 to 11 year olds.
Chenysse has been a four year Lynn Classical varsity basketball player and a 3 year starter.  In this her final campaign, she is co-captain of the team.  She is the teams second leading scorer averaging 11.6 points per game and leads the team with 5.5 assists per game.  She has led the team to a 14 and 8 record which is the best record in several years.  More importantly than the points and assists is the unfettering desire to compete and to do anything necessary for put her team in a position to win.  She sets the tone for the rest of the team to follow.  In February she upped her scoring average to 14 points per game and had a huge 22 point game to defeat 2 time NEC North champion Revere, giving them only their 2nd league loss of the season.

RAM | Kevin Chasse - Crown Trophy
Congrats to our February Student Athlete of the Month, Senior Captain Kevin Chasse a four year swimmer and served as Captain both his Jr. and Sr. Seasons.  Kevin has been selected as an NEC All-Star in each of his four years and was unanimously selected as the Northeast Conferences Male Swimmer of the Year!  While at Classical Kevin has earned the team MVP honor 3 years, is our teams high point scorer and was also selected as Lynn’s Male Swimmer of the Year.  In this his senior season Kevin qualified for both the Sectional & State Championships, he broke two Lynn Classical School Records in the boys 200 IM and 100 Freestyle.  Kevin is a very dedicated and talented student-athlete and was always accessible to his teammates to assist in any way needed.  He will be missed.

RAM | Sarah Sirois - Crown Trophy
Congrats to Sophomore Sarah Sirois for receiving the December Crown Trophy Athlete of the Month for December. Sarah has finished first in all 9 of her dual meets and broke and rebroke her Lynn High School Women's Diving Record four times this season. Recently at the Northeast Conference Meet Sarah finished in second place. She has qualified to compete both in the Sectional & State Level Championships. Sarah was selected again this season as an NEC All Star, and most importantly she maintains a 4.33 GPA as an honor student and is in the top of her class.  Sarah is an outstanding student athlete and remarkable young lady.

RAM | Jack Stafford - Crown Trophy
Jack Stafford is a junior goaltender for the Lynn Jets.  This is his third year as the starting goalie.  This year his record is 12-2-1, with a goals against average of 1.12 goals a game.  He also has 6 shut outs.  During this stellar season, he was able to secure victories over traditional NEC hockey powers Winthrop, Danvers, and Gloucester.  Keep up the great work on and off the ice Jack!

RAM | Eric Solis - Crown Trophy
Eric Solois currently the leading scorer averaging 14 ppl. He's had several notable performances, he tallied 23 points in a win over Beverly , a season best 29 points vs. Lynn English, and 26 points vs. Everett.
