Welcome To Our Physical and Health Education Programs

Through health literacy, self-management skills, and health promotion, a comprehensive health education teaches fundamental health concepts, promotes habits and conduct that enhance health and wellness, and guides efforts to build healthy families, relationships, schools, and communities.

A planned sequential curriculum addresses a variety of topics with increasing degrees of complexity appropriate to students’ developmental levels.  The physical education and health curriculum are aligned with the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework; the course will address the four strands of learning as identified in the framework. This curriculum will also address the embedded CVTE strands.
