Audio/Video Recording and Photographs of Lessons by Lynn Public Schools Staff

From time to time during the current period of remote learning, Lynn Public Schools staff may audio/video record lessons for the purposes of teacher training, professional development, and for educator evaluation purposes.

For the same reasons, photographs and screenshots may be taken by Lynn Public Schools staff during remote lessons. No single student will be focused on in any such recordings, and no personally identifiable or confidential student information will be included.

Any such recordings, photographs, or screenshots will be used for educational purposes only, and will not be shared except through systems accessible by password for Lynn Public Schools staff. If you have any questions, concerns, or objections to the above, please alert the Principal.

TRIO Talent Search

TRIO Talent Search is a federally-funded college access program for high school and middle school students who would be the first in their family to attend college. TRIO advisors provide FREE college and career advising and assistance with completing financial aid applications.

The program also provides tutoring in English, Math, and Science, SAT test prep, and assistance with college and scholarship essays. Students in the TRIO Talent Search program participate in monthly field trips to college campuses across Massachusetts and beyond.

Talent Search advisors are available during the school day at Lynn English, Lynn Classical and Lynn Vocational Technical High schools.The Talent Search program is open to Lynn Public Schools students in grades 6-12 who would be a first-generation college student and whose families meet the U.S. Department of Education’s income guidelines for Federal TRIO Programs. Students must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.

More About The Trio Programs At Northshore Community College

The federal TRIO Programs at NSCC are designed to identify and provide students services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. NSCC offers four different TRIO programs to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities access higher education. All our services are free. 

Student Support Services
TRIO/Student Support Services is a federally funded program that provides personalized academic advising and encouragement to students who are low-income, or first generation to college (neither parent graduated from four-year college), or individuals who have a documented disability. Educational Opportunity Center
The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides postsecondary education access services and career exploration and advising to students and adults (age 19 and above) who are interested in furthering their education. Educational Opportunity Center

Talent Search
TRIO/Talent search is a partnership with Lynn Public Schools that works to identify and assist high school students who have the potential to succeed in higher education. We currently have advisors located Lynn Technical, Lynn Classical, and Lynn English High Schools. Talent Search

Upward Bound
The TRIO/Upward Bound (UB) program at NSCC is a partnership with Lynn Public School District. UB provides intensive basic support for students as they get ready for college. Upward Bound
