Summer Reading for Students Entering Grade 8 in 2010

Students must read (at least) one book from the following required list:

Lyddie   Katherine Patterson

Max the Mighty   Rodman Philbrick

Students entering grade 8 must also choose at least two books written by any of the following authors:

Reading Assignment

Every middle school student is required to complete summer reading. In September you will be tested on one of  the required books on the list.                                                                        

 For the  other two books you have chosen, fill out a Reflection Sheet or write a simple One Page Report. Click here, Reading Assignment for Students Entering Grades 6, 7, and 8, to see required work.

Reflection sheets are also available at the Lynn Public Library and your school office.
