Welcome!
I grew up in Lynn and traveled through Lynn Schools all the way to my graduation from Classical in 2014. I am honored and humbled to be back to teach my favorite subjects English and Writing to freshman. I have always considered myself a teacher, from tutoring in English at a young age, to teaching piano and music theory for 6 years, teaching a fitness class in my spare time, and now teaching English. Giving back to the diverse, incredible, talented, and deserving students of Lynn is a dream come true. My mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, equitable, and accessible educational environment for all my students.

College (s) attended: LCHS Grad 2014,
UMass Boston BA - 2018, English & Creative Writing
SNHU MFA - 2021, Creative Writing & License to teach writing

Year I started teaching at LCHS: 2019

Favorite topic in my English Class: is definitely when I get to read all kinds of literature with my classes.

Favorite (subject/course) fact: My favorite subject in school and all the way through college was English. It still is English. I love learning about writing and literature. At UMB, I took some really interesting courses, one of which was a History of Comics Books class. My favorite courses had to be creative writing and the Shakespeare and “Shakesperv” classes that Professor Scott Maisano created.

Favorite activity(ies) outside of teaching
I love going to the gym, reading, writing (I’m working on publishing another novel), playing the piano, reading with my fiancé, and entertaining my two cats, Mrs. Mustache and Vybz.
