Admissions
Admissions to Lynn Tech for the 2022-2023 school year is currently closed for any current Lynn Public Schools family. Any student entering the district may still apply. Please contact Johanna Smith at smithjoh@lynnschools.org for more information. Please see our New Admissions Policy for more detailed information.
An admission process is necessary in technical vocational schools where space is a limiting factor. Vocational technical laboratories (shops) are designed and equipped to serve a specific maximum number of students safely.
Any eighth, ninth, or tenth grade student who is a resident of the city of Lynn who expects to be promoted to the grade they seek to enter, is eligible to apply for fall admission or admission during the school year subject to the availability of openings to Lynn Vocational Technical Institute. Class of 2027 Online Admission Application
The Class of 2027 admission application is now live! If you are currently in the 8th grade and are interested in attending LVTI for the 9th grade, please read the instructions to make sure you are filling out the correct application.
If you are currently attending a school with Lynn Public Schools, fill this application out: LPS Student Class of 2027 Admission Application
**One of the requirements is for students to submit an “artifact” that demonstrates their interest in vocational education. Please take a look at the Artfact Choice Board document to understand what the assignment options are.
