We are a dual language school committed to being a welcoming and safe learning community where all our students' and educators' intellect and cultural and linguistic identities are valued and celebrated. We strive to create spaces that embody joy, and students have equitable access to rigorous and engaging learning experiences that will prepare them to be college and career ready.
Our students’ and staff’s diverse cultural richness adds to the value of our school. We celebrate multilingualism, multiliteracy, and multiculturalism and encourage our members to live by our RISE acronym: Respect, Inclusivity, Safety and Excellence.
As principal, I am committed to live by the words of Danielle Filipiak: “teaching for justice requires that we love the children we teach, and to love young people, we have to fundamentally believe that they matter. Mattering isn’t a feeling; it’s an action. It’s respecting the richness of young people’s identities and acting in the best interest of their humanity.”

We are ready for School Year 2024/2025!
Come meet your teacher on Sept. 3, 2024, from 2:30-4:00 in our schoolyard. Students will take home a backpack with supplies and families will have the opportunity to connect with our community partners.
Important Dates to Remember:
Sept. 4: First day of school for grades 1-5. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 8:00- 8:15.
Sept. 6: Kindergarten Open House 9:00 am
Sept. 9: First day of kindergarten. School starts at 8:15

Ven a conocer a tu maestro el 3 de septiembre de 2024, de 2:30 a 4:00 en el patio de nuestra escuela. Los estudiantes se llevarán a casa una mochila con útiles y las familias tendrán la oportunidad de conectarse con nuestros socios comunitarios.
Fechas importantes para recordar:
4 de septiembre: Primer día de clases para los grados 1 a 5. El desayuno se sirve en la cafetería de 8:00 a 8:15.
6 de septiembre: Reunión de kindergarten a las 9:00 a. m.
