The Ford Elementary School is a welcoming school community that embraces the diverse nature of our school population. At Ford, we celebrate individual differences among children and set high expectations for them. Our goal is to help our students become caring and responsible individuals in the school community who treat each other with respect and courtesy. Our focus is to develop cooperation and also individual effort with our students so that each child will acquire skills that will help him/her to become a lifelong learner. Working together as a team in each classroom is important to building character and developing academic skills.  

All children deserve to feel safe, supported, healthy, challenged, and engaged. The Robert L. Ford School community is made up of students, teachers and parents who work together every day to nurture a safe and caring environment that supports academic as well as social-emotional growth for each Ford student.
