Welcome

Welcome to Lynn Classical High School and the Ram Fam, we are going to have a fantastic school year! I am thrilled to be working with you and our dedicated staff to have a year filled with growth, learning and building relationships. Classical prides itself on inclusivity, building relationships, and supporting the whole student. Our goal is that all students have a trusted adult in the building and can benefit from the variety of academic, social, and mental health supports that we have to offer. Classical has a wide array of subjects and electives to choose from and we have support for all access levels so all students can access the curriculum and excel. We have partnerships with both North Shore Community College and Salem State University for the Early College & Early College Promise Program and 16+ AP Courses for students to start earning college credits in high school. LCHS offers a wide assortment of sports, clubs, and student voice activities to enhance student experience. To get your students college and career ready and to support them in navigating their high school experience, your student will be able to collaborate with teachers, assistant principals, school counselors, school psychologists, social workers, coaches, nurses, library media specialist, and their advisory teacher. Students will benefit from a weekly advisory where they will collaborate with their mentor to build community, investigate college and career pathways, collaborate on social/emotional education, and unpack current events in the school and the greater community.

We look forward to partnering with you and your students to provide a positive and successful high school experience. Tips for success hear at LCHS are:

1. Be here every day, there is important learning happening, do not miss out!

2. Build relationships with teachers, support staff and your peers!

3. Push yourself and try something new, Classical has something for everyone!

4. Ask for help, we are here for you and your family!

I am excited to meet all of our new students and families and cannot wait to welcome back our returning families. Together we will make this a wonderful year!

Happy Summer!

Amy Dunn, Principal LCHS

LCHS will welcome all Students grades 9-12 on September 4th at 7:45. We start the day with your first period class, so it is extremely important that you get to school on time so that you are sitting in your classroom ready to learn by 7:45. Please leave extra time as the traffic can be difficult with the three schools in a small area. Our cafeteria will be open starting at 7:15 to have breakfast, relax with your friends, or work on homework together.
