Welcome to the new School Year!

Once again, we have had an excellent start to the new school year! I have recently been through all of our classrooms and I have seen lots of excited and smiling faces from both the faculty and the students alike. I have also had many interactions with parents, faculty, and students. From these conversations, it is clear that there is a collegial partnership between all stakeholders to provide the best possible academic experience for our students.

As partners, we share the responsibility for our children's success and we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you support your child's learning by ensuring that your child:

• Comes to school every day, on time and ready to learn
• Completes all homework assignments
• Reads daily at home to improve literacy skills
• Knows that you expect your child to succeed in school to become prepared for college and/or careers

I would also like to encourage you to join our incredible PTA and participate as much as your busy schedules permit. It is also a wonderful opportunity to get to know your fellow parents and find out how you would like to be involved.

Our greatest initiative will be to continue to work together to provide differentiated learning opportunities for each student with challenging and engaging learning experiences. I am confident that together, we can make the Lincoln-Thomson Elementary School the best place for our students to learn and grow.
