The Lynn Public Schools English Language Arts program is committed to developing self-advocating readers, writers, communicators, and critical thinkers who are prepared for college, career, and active citizenship. Through evidence-based literacy instruction, engaging learning experiences, and high-quality curriculum, students build the knowledge and skills needed to communicate effectively, think critically, and succeed in an ever-changing world.

Aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, our ELA program emphasizes rigorous, standards-based instruction, meaningful opportunities for reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and equitable access to learning through targeted supports and culturally responsive practices.
