My name is Lisa Cullivan and I am proud to begin my 32nd year working in Lynn Public Schools and my second year as the principal of Cobbet Elementary. It has been my pleasure to work at Cobbet for the past 11 years and I am looking forward to leading this school towards academic excellence and a school environment that is inclusive, supportive, and kind.  

I have lived in Lynn my entire life, attending Tracy, Breed and Lynn Classical. When I finished college at Fitchburg State College, I knew I wanted to return to Lynn and give back to the community that helped raise me. I have 2 daughters, 2 step-sons, and 2 grandchildren. My husband and my family are very important to me and spending time with them is my favorite thing to do.

Hello and Welcome to a New School Year!!

I am looking forward to my second year in the role as Program Specialist. During the last 34 years working for Lynn Public Schools I have been a 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade teacher as well as an Instructional Technology and a Curriculum Instruction teacher. Working in Lynn has given me an insight to the awesome diversity we have here in the school system. I have met families that have come from all over the world. It is this diversity and the students that have made me never want to leave Lynn to teach anywhere else.

I was born in and still live in Lynn. I went to school at Aborn, Eastern Junior High (now Marshall), and St. Mary's High School. I have two grown daughters, Amanda & Sara, who are out on their own. I also own an Australian Shepard named Guinness. During my free time I like to take my motorcycle on long rides with my fiancé, Renee. A couple nights a week I host trivia and music bingo in Salem.

I'm looking forward to a great school year and I am excited to see the returning, and new faces of the students and staff!!

I am proud to have served the Lynn community for the past three decades. As a graduate of Lynn Public Schools, it is especially meaningful to be a part of the district that gave me my educational foundation.

I bring a broad range of experience to my role as Program Specialist, having taught third, fourth, and sixth grades, as well as being a reading specialist and a special education teacher. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting students, collaborating with educators, and fostering high-quality instruction for all learners.

Outside of school, I live with my husband, Scott, and our two children, Avery (17) and Bryce (13). We enjoy spending time outdoors as a family. As a mom, I spend a lot of time on the sidelines cheering for my kids.

The students, families, and staff at Cobbet Elementary School have made me incredibly proud to be a Cobbet Cougar. I am grateful to be part of such a dedicated and caring school community, and I look forward to another successful year of learning, growth, and collaboration together.
