Welcome Back to the 2026–2027 School Year!

We are so excited to welcome our Aborn families back for another wonderful school year! We hope you have had a relaxing summer and are ready for a year filled with learning, growth, and lots of fun.

Please join us for our annual Welcome Back Block Party on Tuesday, September 1st, from 1:30–3:00 PM in the schoolyard! This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, reconnect with friends, and celebrate the start of a new school year. We’ll have games, activities, free books and backpacks, ice cream, and more! We can’t wait to see you there!

Important Dates:

• First Day of School for Grades 1–5: Wednesday, September 2^nd 
• Kindergarten Orientation: Thursday, September 3^rd  from 9:00-10:00am
• First Day of Kindergarten: Tuesday, September 8^th 

School Hours:
School begins at 8:15 AM and dismissal is at 2:15 PM.
Breakfast will be served from 7:50–8:15 AM each morning.

Staff members will be in the schoolyard in the morning and afternoon to welcome students, help families, and assist with arrival and dismissal.

We are looking forward to another amazing year at Aborn! We can’t wait to welcome our students and families back and make the 2026–2027 school year our best one yet!
